Cooking Together: Step by Step Guide to Yummy, Healthy and Fun Recipes
I am absolutely passionate about parenting and have written a children’s cookery book called Cooking Together: Step by Step Guide to Yummy, Healthy and Fun Recipes, with recipes shared by mums who have been victims of domestic abuse with proceeds going to Women’s Aid.
This book is much more than a cookery book as it is all about the bond created between mother and child in the kitchen. Each recipe has been adapted to that there is a Star Chef which is the child and a Kitchen Assistant who is the adult. As Annabel Karmel said when she shared her Ginger Animal Buiscuits recipe which can be found in the book “Cooking is an essential life skill, as well as spending time together and creating memories.”
Comments from a review by www.realmumreveiw.com included:
Great variety of receipes and meal inspiration for simple quick and healthy food for little ones.
Range of complexities to suit children of all ages (probably from around 3 years).
Bright and colourful pages with good use of photography to show off the finished dish (I always hate it when you cant see what something should look like!)
Nothing too fancy or “scary” for little ones – the majority of ingredients used in the dishes are what I would class as “kid friendly” and familiar.
Helping a good cause – with proceeds from the sale from each book goes towards Women’s Aid.
This is what another mum said
“This is a great cookery book and absolutely "child-friendly". My daughter loves it and has already made half of the recipes. Needless to say they all taste yummy.”
